Jesse is our in-house editor and on-the-ground shooter. He’s as comfortable behind the timeline as he is behind the lens. With a background rooted in outdoor content and an eye for storytelling, he brings calm energy, curiosity, and creative talent to every project.

What’s your role at Pepper, and what types of projects do you love working on?
My role is Video Editor, and my favourite type of content to work on is anything related to the outdoors.
What’s your approach to storytelling through content?
I let the client tell their story, and then I amplify it through content. The client or business owner usually has a genuine passion for what they do, and when we create content that showcases that, audiences tend to connect with it.
What makes working with you different?
I love learning about new businesses, industries, and their products or services. Seeing the passion behind them and visually representing that through content is something I enjoy.
Favourite place you’ve shot – and why?
If we’re talking Pepper: I love shooting at the beach. I’ve grown up and lived on the coast most of my life.I love the sun, the salty air, and the sand between my toes.
If we’re talking my career: I loved shooting rally cars. These fast-moving cars are so exciting to capture. The dust flying off the wheels, the different camera angles, the drifting — I love it. Last time I shot them, I even got to ride in one too!
What excites you most about your work right now?
The variety of projects I get to work on and the opportunity to keep learning about different industries and the people behind them.
What’s your go-to creative reset?
I like to rewatch some of my best work — it helps rebuild confidence and reminds me of techniques or ideas I can bring into new edits. Another method for me is doing something hands-on, like building with wood or other materials. This helps me shift my focus to something completely different and resets my creative mind.
