HQPlantations manages the pine forests wrapped around the Glass House Mountains. They needed safety and awareness content filmed on real sites, with real crews and without a single machine stopping to make it happen.

Finished assets delivered
Months the content stayed in use, with the safety training video still in use
Stoppages to live forestry operations
Drone lenses, in millimetres, used to keep crew outside exclusion zones
Because the site doesn’t stop.
HQPlantations’ plantations around the Glass House Mountains are working industrial environments. Harvesters, loaders and haulage trucks running to a schedule, exclusion zones that move through the day, and mandatory PPE for anyone on the ground. Safety content filmed there has to look authentic, which rules out staging it somewhere easier, while never becoming the reason work paused.
HQPlantations came to us for a series of safety and awareness videos filmed on location, inside active sites. The brief was specific: authentic interviews, real working environments, and visuals strong enough to carry a safety message people would actually watch.
The safety campaign film — shot and edited by Pepper.
You put the camera where the crew can’t stand.
We flew drones fitted with longer 70 mm and 150 mm lenses low to the ground, which let the camera sit at eye height inside a scene while our operators stayed well outside the exclusion zone.
Our crew went in fully kitted – high-vis PPE, steel-cap boots – carrying camera and drone equipment deep into restricted logging areas. Access limitations and live machinery are the two constraints that shape every decision on a site like this.
That one decision is why the campaign looks like it was shot from inside the work, not from the fence line.
A campaign, plus a library.
The finished safety films combine cinematic aerial footage, on-site interviews and environmental visuals. Underneath them sits a versatile set of photo and video assets built to be reused long after the campaign itself.
“Filmed inside a working pine plantation. Not one machine stopped.”
We’ve filmed in working forests, on beaches in surf, and alongside rescue helicopter crews. If your site can’t stop for a camera, that’s a production problem with a production answer.
